Pep Guardiola has seen his team lose 4 games in a row for the first time in his managerial career after Man City’s 2-1 loss against Brighton, but it doesn't get any easier for Pep in the coming weeks. Pep and his Man City team match up against Tottenham in their next Premier League game, but it doesn't stop there. After playing Spurs, following a game against Feyenoord in the Champions League, City take on Liverpool and in form Nottingham Forest in back to back weeks, making the next 3 games vital for Pep’s side to keep themselves alive in the title race. With Liverpool showing no signs of slowing down, City’s upcoming fixtures are more important than ever before, with a statement win against Spurs getting them back on track for the title. Luckily for City, those around them such as Arsenal have begun to dip in form and given a glimpse of hope that City can regroup quickly after a terrible couple of weeks, but there is no margin for error for City.

It's obvious the absence of Ballon D’or winner Rodri is causing problems for City ever since his ACL tear, but injuries sidelining key players has also been a big blow for City as Pep struggles to find appropriate cover for those such as Ruben Dias, a player who is extremely important for the title holders. Therefore injury woes and out of form players such as Phil Foden could cause big problems for City in their tough upcoming fixtures, and could damage their title chances massively.
