Signing Kolo Muani Was Just One Of The Many Mistakes Spurs Made This Season

This season has been far from ideal so far for Tottenham Hotspur, and amongst a number of problems the club have, signing Randal Kolo Muani on loan from PSG was one of their biggest mistakes. Having got off to  a tough start and already wanting out, Spurs see themselves have another summer signing crash and burn, and is one they will want to forget.

Since his sensational campaign in the 2022 World Cup, Randal Kolo Muani was one of the hottest players on the market, subsequently making the move from Eintracht Frankfurt to French giants PSG. His time in Paris wasn’t exactly what they were expecting, and a mere year later he was moved on to Spurs on loan in a bid to get his career back on track, however it looks like neither PSG nor Tottenham want him anymore, and it is beginning to look like a typical spurs summer window disaster.

With 0 goals in 11 Premier League games this season, Spurs are still yet to find the solution to that massive hole Harry Kane left when he left for Bayern Munich, and Kolo Muani definitely wasn’t the answer. Despite Spurs’ ongoing defensive issues in the league, their goalscoring has been a significant weakness, and despite having the likes of Mathys Tel waiting in the wings, along with Dominic Solanke, Kolo Muani hasn’t solved any problems at all, and has been a massive misjudgement again by the Spurs scouting department.

Although he still has time to adapt with more that 4 months left on his contract, Kolo Muani is expected to leave Spurs at the end of the year, and is even expected to be shipped away from his parent club PSG with Juventus and other European clubs knocking at the door, however his time at Spurs won’t be missed, and as far as earning Premier League experience goes, it couldn’t have gone any worse for the Frenchman.
