Over the last couple of seasons Chelsea have stacked up their squad as a whole, but there is no concern over depth in their attack as now 11 players all find a place on the roster. However, varying from young beaming talent, to old has beens, one player who could be destined for a loan move right now is 19 year old Tyrique George, and here's why.
George is a player who has been overshadowed by the overwhelming crowd of attackers in the Chelsea team, and after getting his Chelsea career up and running for good last season, a lack of chances this season may call for a last minute loan move away to elevate his game to that top level even more. The 19 year old star played eight games for Chelsea last season in the Premier League, and became a go to guy for manager Enzo Maresca last year, but with too many attackers to choose from now, and rumors of even more to come, a temporary move away seems the sensible option for George.
Chatter of Italy or Germany have been surrounding George’s situation for the last couple of days, and a move to a club like Leipzig or Roma makes total sense given the opportunities they may present, and for George’s career, it could be exactly what he needs to put his name in the hat at Chelsea.
Fighting against the likes of Pedro Neto, Estevao, Cole Palmer, and Jamie Bynoe Gittens ins't an easy ask given his age and lack of experience, and a move to a place where he can learn what it is like to take responsibility at the top level, and to grow as a player just makes sense given Chelsea’s current situation. Outgoings are a certainty coming towards the end of the summer transfer window for Chelsea, and a loan move for George seems like a priority at this time given how ostracised he could become in their current situation.
